Welcome to the section dedicated to excursions and activities to experience during your stay at Residenza Leonardo! We invite you to discover the wonders of the Conero Riviera, including breathtaking views, enchanting beaches and outdoor sports.
Frasassi Caves
For groups of up to 8 pax: reservation required within a week in advance, especially for non-summer periods, under the times of possible visits.
You can purchase tickets online through the following link: tickets.frasassi.com
In case the tickets available online are sold out, you can still purchase them at the Caves ticket office.
Visit to the city of Loreto and the cathedral, famous for the Black Madonna
The beautiful city of Loreto, nestled in the Marche countryside, owes its fame to the shrine that holds the Holy House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred place defined by John Paul II as the "true Marian heart of Christianity."
Departure from the B&B in the morning, approximately 9:00 a.m., arriving at Loreto Cathedral around 9:40 a.m.
Visit to the Cathedral.
Lunch at Trattoria Norma - Vino e Cucina or Locanda del Viale - Enoteca Bar Ristorante, depending on availability.
In the afternoon, visit to the city of Loreto.
Return to the B&B approximately by 5:00 p.m./6:00 p.m.
Visit to the city of Ancona
Departure from the B&B at 9:00 am with arrival in Ancona at 9:20 am.
Return to the B&B scheduled for 7:00 pm.
First Visit - Ancona Cathedral
Ancona Cathedral, dedicated to St. Ciriaco, dominates the city from Guasco Hill. It harmoniously combines Romanesque and Byzantine styles, offering a spectacular view of the gulf.
It stands on the site of an ancient Doric temple dedicated to Aphrodite and is a place of great historical and religious value. The Greek-cross plan culminates in an imposing dome, while the interior preserves valuable elements such as the stylophoric lions and the 13th-century prothyrum attributed to Margaritone d'Arezzo.

Second visit - Church of San Francesco alle Scale
In the heart of the city, the church of San Francesco alle Scale captivates with its majestic staircase dating from 1447. The building combines Gothic and Renaissance elements, creating an atmosphere full of charm and spirituality.
Plebiscite Square (breakfast break)
Also known as Pope's Square, it is one of the most lively places in Ancona. Here you will find outdoor cafes ideal for a relaxing break, the Government Palace, the neoclassical church of San Domenico designed by Carlo Marchionni and the statue of Clement XII, a symbol of the port's rebirth.

Fourth visit - Historic center of Ancona
Walk between Theater Square, Roma Square and Cavour Square, stopping for lunch at one of the local eateries.
Fifth visit - Passetto Monument and beach
The Passetto is an evocative corner where history and the sea meet. From the War Memorial, a scenic flight of steps leads to the rocky beach. Here is the "Seggiola del Papa" and the famous "Quadrato," a smooth slab perfect for relaxing in the sun. The area is served by bars and establishments.

Continuation to the beaches and town of Numana, where there is a free lunch break and the afternoon dedicated to relaxation by the sea.

Departure from the B&B at 10:00 am with arrival at Moroder wineries at 10:30 am. Guided tour of the winery with tasting of native wines (such as Rosso Conero). Lunch at the winery. Return to the B&B in the afternoon.
Option 2 - Colleminò wineries - Verdicchio Mittera
Departure from the B&B at 10:00 am with arrival at the Colleminò wineries at 10:30 am. Wine tasting.
Lunch at the winery. Return to the B&B after lunch.
Departure from the B&B at 10:00 am with arrival at Moroder wineries at 10:30 am. Guided tour of the winery with tasting of native wines (such as Rosso Conero). Lunch at the winery. Return to the B&B in the afternoon.
